Hope you took some pictures of the tent

Which number tent did you stay in -O-
I did on my old cell phone but don't seem to have them on hand :-? We were in 18 and 19 a bit further away from the ablutions but still very nice .We must say that we had a problem with the steps as they are made of plastic and we had some drizzle that made them very slippery in fact three of our party slipped off the stairs at various times .We did report it all that it needs is some of the non slip strips put on the steps . Apart from that we had running battles with the Monkies who stole our onions one evening during the braai and the Baboons raided our tent one day while we were out and stole our toothpaste .

The following day we decided to drive the S39 S40 Timbavati loop.

We found a Ostrich on its own

Image

This Steenbokkie was being very cautious
Image

A bird was on the lookout
Image

Plenty of Vultures were sunning themselves
Image

A Nyala was slinking through the bushes
Image

This Giraffe was hiding behind a bush
Image

We met another vehicle on the road who told us they were watching two lions in the distance >We searched and searched but only found this one Male far off in the verkykers.
Image

We were driving along and spotted this a Cheetah just before a sharp bend
Image

We drove around the corner to try get a better shot and found another car on the other side we stopped to not disturb them but the passenger frantically waved us forwards and then we spotted not one or two or even three but 6 Cheetahs
Image

Image

Image

Image

They seemed interested in something in the bushes and moved off .We tried to find them again but they moved away from the road .
Image

We carried on with our loop ....
