I think in principle it is marvelous, and there is no way that most locals can come in during the week, nor afford entry for a family, to be honest...R400-500? :no:

So good, and if the Park is slightly overfull once a year so be it.

There were many local families that came in early when I was there Saturday, and they were having a bleddie marvelous time. That is actually what it is about, not just the endless moneymaking... :yes:

However, the weekend needs to be managed much better and a lot of discussion and education needs to take place! \O

Sanparks has probably decided to include a weekend in order to open the parks for more people, but without thinking further and consider the consequences.

How much more education do you want for these visitors, these are adults and should know if the gate quota has been reached that's it go home try tomorrow, don't be morons and make a scene 0*\

He urged visitors to the park who found themselves near the Crocodile Gate to proceed calmly to the Orpen or Malelane Gate in order to depart from the KNP without hindrances.
