I love this camp too. I have been there just a couple of times, but the river was always completely dry (even in december). Nice to see it flowing on the last pictures.

We loved Tamboti before we went back to Camping and so Maroela ..Always booked Tent 22 if we went with the Mob or for spoiling ourselves ...No 40 at the end

Of course with an unguarded open gate in Prime Leopard riverine forest there are often more leopards in camp than outside..This one was 10 metres from the open unguarded gate at 08h30 ..A hop over the electric wires and slinking into the bush in camp is what I am sure he was waiting to do after my Photo session with him at the gate

Guys, how close is the nearest "city" to stock up on meat beer etc? or will we need to bring provision from JHB?

Hi Lis,

Tamboti is night 4,5 and 6.

So i was thinking about doing the scenic road to Bourkes luck and Pilgrims rest, and maybe restock there?
