Withdrawal Symptoms deluxe ..Just made a 3 week camping booking at Shingwedzi in Nov 2019...It will be greener than Sept time and the birds will be there at that time ..Love my Woodlands Kingfishers , ALL Cuckoos and nesting Violet Backed Starlings in camp with the African Golden Orioles and Broadbilled Rollers out on the S56 BUT we WILL get wet at some time so will have to get on our bellies on arrival to choose a 'higher than others ' Camp site in the middle to pitch camp ..years of summer camping there have taught me that..But for now I wish just for a week end at Campsite 14 at Tsendze preparing for the evening braai and planning my early morning Grootvlei strategy to see my friendly felines

Normally a Leopard sits on that Monument ...Great to see Cheetah in that thickish Bush..Normally 3-4 are seen individually about 15 kms NE of there on the Basalt Plains from Mooiplaas windmill north wards

Again I say it Tsendze is the TOP camp in Kruger and best BIG 5 area of the Park ..Biggest Tuskers ..Lots of hard to see leopards, , Rhino, Big Buffalo herds , Glorious Lions and of course Cheetah , Roan, Tssessebe, Eland, Reed Buck etc etc ..Cant wait to end my Sept month 2021 in the northern region of the Park ending with 10 nights at Tsendze
