My mates stayed in the huts last year August, but didn’t complain about the hot water, etc. There only moan was the amount of sand in the ablutions. Sand doesn’t worry me, but it seemed a big issue in their life. =O:

The EB3 huts aren’t the round huts and are 2 groups of 4 attached units in a row

63 on one end close to the ablutions and 70 on the other (which are probably the best 2) There are also 4 other EB3’s joined in a row with EB2’s, but on the end (42, 46, 57 and 61)

We were in Pretoriuskop in December 2012 (we left on 23 to come home) and the camp was full BUT there was always hot water,we never had to wait for a shower or even wait to use the sink to do dishes after dinner. This year we will be in Pretoriuskop from the 26 to 30 Dec, maybe it will be different O-/ O-/
I've stayed in the EB-3s afew times, Td! Nothing fancy, and relatively cheap! Ablutions are quite equidistant, and sufficient, but it is going to be pretty full at that time of year! Also, check that you leave a chair or bin or something in your parking spot! Just from experience, as parking is tricky!

The huts are ironically quite near the fence! \O

Enjoy! X#X

EB3 Unit, no. 66 - 3 Beds, fridge, aircon, communal ablutions

No. 66 is close to the ablutions and the Wolhuter Hut.

They really need to put some lights outside these huts! :O^

\O

Take a gas lamp or standing torch so you can see what you're doing outside at night! ;-)
