Did my stint today,...
Liandi Slabbert, professional in her approach.

Kevin Moore, a professional host and well spoken.
The specialists doing the study quite educated in
their approach, both lecture at higher educational
institutions in Australia, both at different establishments.
The initiator of this exercise being a born and bred Expat
and his compatriot a fully fledged Australian so very anxious
about the KNP, her maiden voyage there.

In order to keep this study, unhindered for future practical
purpose and intent, I wish to refrain from further comment!!

What I can say though is that it saddens one, to realize a
situation of total regress that Sanparks are experiencing with
their mandate issues,..the honorable Stevenson Hamiltons
greatest fear!!

For those attending future meets, have fun, call it a brief holiday,

while doing duty!!

Sorry for that RP!!

Most unfortunately we need to create time and space for our
invited guests from OZ to conduct and conclude their research.
Although it is quite clear that Sanparks are using this opportunity
to their greater benefit. I sensed that thoroughly. The guidelines
preset, the outcome will be generously compensated. Sad but true.

Will post my input a little later,..

That's fine, Ouboet...things may yet happen otherwise, despite the rubber stamp approach from curators...

A rather disturbing scenario has emerged. The greater need for curatorship, overpowered by socio- economic standards set there by .gov, perhaps just very suiting!!??
I wish to remind those here today of activities taking place in that pristine area, that I know of, which would have a great impact on traffic numbers!! Traffic impacts in KNP, being a note-able argument for many years now.
I iterate once again.-
• Skukuza Lodge. A 240bed development where traffic numbers became a great concern. 2.3 cars P/kilometre, a wishful standard, 4.2 cars the current rate, 5.2 cars envisaged!! It was suggested the impact study be redone. This and taking into account the cumulative impacts. The results and mitigation never shared with IAP’s. These discussions can be found in the final minutes, C/O Exigo, Environmental Impact Practitioners. 12/12/2014.
• Malelane tented hotel. Another 240 bed hotel venture!! Traffic and waste disposal clauses, as amended by the honourable minister, over ridden by her deputies, advisors and extended without meeting set legal structures,. Amended traffic assessment, as per the honourable minister, yet to be shared with AIP’s. Also these discussions can be found in the final minutes of the Malelane Safari Resort, final minutes. C/o Nu Leaf EIP’s.
• Shangoni gate. Another access gate supposedly to accommodate disadvantaged society in that area. Traffic assessment brushed over so as to say, unchartered ground!!! Hence included into a general observation. Also noted in the final minutes, The Shangoni Gate Impact assessments. C/o Environlution EIP’s.
• Renovation of picnic sites, that to accommodate tented facilities, untendered, un- assessed with regard to traffic impacts.
• Block booking options in various camps inviting mass exposure/abuse of entrepreneurship.
• The peripheral zoning plan (PDZ) as set aside by .gov!!! A strip of land as set aside for the purpose of “connecting with society”. This land set aside for all purpose and intent insofar it will accommodate all forms of common entrepreneurship.
• Over and above, not negligible, the rhino poaching and other disposition that a significant piece of land has to contend with, only to prove it’s mere existence!!?? That existence which shall satisfy only mans greed!!
• Annual free access, committed to society. An effort set there to make society surrounding the park, aware of their national asset. Fact is, it would seem that foreign interests are greater, with regard toward pillaging, high on the agenda, KNP, can almost be classed as a very effective abattoir of note!!!

I stand here baffled to the bone!!!
