They should do the same thing in Kruger then, but I suppose that nobody would take the bait and they would have empty accommodations.... and not paid for :O^

The presentation could also be a fabrication to support the long-term plans regarding the new future for SanParks? -O-

There is no way visitor numbers/overnighters are dropping to that extent, as the graph would suggest? Kruger accounts for 90% of those numbers...

Agree... the Rand value for accomodation as reported annually has in fact increased. ;-)

Excellent point, Sprocks, but that can't account for all!

The rest must surely be preferential bookings!
\O

Think there is an increase in camping booked to avoid the penalties while in transit, camping booked will not make a marked increase in revenue as it is the cheapest accomodation (4 sites = 1 rondavel on average), the decrease in occupancy has been marked for 2010/11 and 2011/12 when the 1 night stay over rule was introduced.

Mel, I get you on this, but have just been so busy today 0*\

You should see the screen dumps I took of the KNP bookings yesterday at 8am on the 1st when bookings were closed as it’s a public holiday, but I didn’t realize we could post them here. -O-

Units gone at Skukuza, Lower Sabie, Satara, Berg-en-Dal , etc O/ O/ I lost interest after 15 minutes as I have watched it every month for 18 months and the rubbish transparency story only makes it worse O/ O/
