I have been there once and then realized my fuel was very low and had to drive back very slowly and just made it back to Mopani lol


Next trip to the bush??

The only time we have been there the dam was almost dry. But it was August i think

My memorable visit was sitting here for most of the day with a couple of student buddies during winter, and I doubt if more than 2 other vehicles came past.

We had had great viewing on this trip to the north and were happy to sit still, having just seen a sable bull at Dipene on the way down! :-0

The dam was rarely quiet, with the normal game plus ostrich and tsessebe coming and going and hanging around doing nothing, as you say. All of a sudden every animal began rushing TOWARD the water... :shock: 0-
