Hello!
fc is nowhere to be found regarding nominating this month, so I will do it!
This hide and road are sometimes not regularly visited, but regularly provide great sightings!

Sure does, and the S119 has a beautiful Jackalberry treeRichprins wrote:

Saw my first wild dogs on this road circa 1984

Sjoe, you are old, Duke!
Thanks, Toko!
Saw my 5th leopard there, I think...circa 1989...
Actually a funny story! There are quite a few viewpoints south of the hide...and us students stopped in the middle of nowhere, and had our morning coffee and rusks, after having left camp at gate opening while camping!
How times have changed!
There is quite a prominent Marula tree on the other bank...it was still quite leafy in winter...
And lo and behold a leopard jumped out of it, causing consternation in the gelandewagen!
Thanks, Toko!

A wounded one!
Not a snare? Snares normally lower down the neck?
(You know the best way of scanning, imo, is to take a digital camera pic of the photo using the macro function? Almost faultless! )

This is my only pic of the S119 leading on to the s25. Being new in Kruger I didn't know I could travel to the hide and back - it was only the S25 that was closed.
I will certainly do that road at the end of April.
