Flat-head Mayfly Notonurus bequaerti (formerly: Compsoneuria bequaerti)
Family: Heptageniidae.

Description
At the imaginal stage, the combination of the number of forewing crossveins in the costal and subcostal fields, the male foretarsi proportions and genitalia will distinguish the genus Notonurus. Overall number of crossveins in the forewing reduced in number compared to other Heptageniidae and bordered with dark staining. Hindwings without marginal brown staining.
