Cape Wolf Snake http://www.krugerpark.co.za/africa_cape_wolf_snake.html

There is a Wolf Snake also, but only found in Asia and Australia.

Met this snake on our doorstep at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge, Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park, Mpembheni, KZN. It was very fast, less than a foot long, and I rather brilliantly I didn't get it's head in the photo. Too quick and dark! The Ranger that showed us to our door suggested it was a harmless Glossy Snake of some sort. Can anyone ID this headless beast please :)
