Sad about the swallow Lis. Would love to see one

I want to finsih this report before Friday so here goes. The next morning we were at the Taita site at 7.00am - it is about an hours drive from Graskop. We saw the red winged starlings, alpine swifts, cape vultures. We hung around for an hour than decided to go to Mariepskop Nature Reserve.

Some of the birds we got long the way and in Mariepskop.

The main reason for visiting Mariepskop was to find the Orange Ground Thrush. We did bushpig trail but no luck. Mariepskop is a lot like Marakele. A very narrow steep drive to the top where you are greeted by spectacular scenery over the canyon :-)

Two more installments, both very nice sightings ;-)

Beautiful views! (And birds, of course :-0 )

Don't think, we need to ask why you want to finish before Friday...
Found the answer elsewhere. O**
