When we arrived at Mpayiphela, there was a couple there having a picnic, and it has a great view over the pan.

Does that change the situation?

Funnily enough, it turned out to be my best fiend's brother and sister in law. Small world sometimes, isn't it?

Oh, and I just remembered, we camped three nights at Savuti. One night an elephant stepped right over the tent my brother was lying in, and one afternoon a pack of wild dogs moved through...

I have had lions several times at picnic spots. This one was at Melkvlei with his brother.

He is resting under the tree next to the tower and if it not was for his tracks I have been following on the sand road, I would not have seen him =O:
