First, a couple furry friends from my yard: (USA)
Eastern Gray Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)
Don't know if this color variant is the result of a normal gray squirrel mating w/ a leucistic one or not, but it's the only one I've ever seen in my yard with mixed fur types.
Southern Flying Squirrel (Glaucomys volans)
About half the size of the grey squirrel or smaller. The average glide is 30-50 feet.
