After the summer rains life is not so easy for lions anymore, as prey disperses. They can lose condition, then disease can set in, obviously. TB lions often have the swollen noses, and sneeze, like those cubs.

Nkaya Pan 18 kms south of Satara is a lucky place for me for lion especially at first light
