Epupa Falls to Camp Syncro, Namibia.

Post by Expat »

0: Has anyone ever travelled along the Kunene river from Epupa Falls Lodge to Camp Syncro? We will be travelling in a 4x4, but time is limited and we would rather not go back to Opuwo if we can help it. Van Zyls Pass is also a no-no for us. Any advice would be gratefully received X#X We have the Tracks4Africa Nam Map and book,(an essential bible for all our Nam holidays) but cannot find an alternative route other than returning to Opuwo. -O-

There is a tar road from Bots along the Kunene border, I think? Military-related, I did it in 1999.

Used to be called Popo Falls. Saw sable there, of all places.

No more info, Expat... O-/
