Pilanesberg Report-Back
Reporter: Flasher

It came to the attention of this reporter that there was to be a secret gathering, at Manyane Camp in the Pilanesberg, of a strange bunch of people who go by the name of Always Wild (AW). O-/ We made contact with one of the members of this group who agreed to host us on their campsite and supply us with the necessary gear so we would blend in with the rest of the group, on the condition that we changed all names so as to protect the identity of the members.

I arrived at Manyane with my assistant, Ice Ice Baby, and driver, Big Dave, at 11.30 on Friday 27 September. We were greeted by iLlama and her driver EfJay, who showed us where we would be staying for the next two nights. We quickly set up the tent and pumped up the mattresses. This apparently caused quite a stir at their last gathering. -O- While we were busy, Snuggles, who had arrived the previous day, came to say hello. iLlama told us it was his birthday and we wished him all the best. He then disappeared and about half an hour later Cuddles came to welcome us. He was looking for his daughter, JL, who had also mysteriously disappeared. :-? He had brought a bee with him from his campsite and blamed the large bump on his stomach on an earlier bee sting, but after further investigation we decided it was actually a beer sting! A little while later more members arrived. It was Leopard Liar and Rock Stupid. Rock Stupid had cleverly disguised herself as Rod Stewart with a new blonde hairstyle! Amazingly it was also Leopard Liar’s birthday! They sat for a while and then also mysteriously disappeared. -O- We had been invited to braai with them that night so we had the rest of the afternoon free and decided to venture into the park.
