The little brown job looks like a Karoo scrub robin to me. :-?

Melanistic springbok :shock: Never seen before.

Alhtough... it does look a bit like a cross-breed between a springbok and a bontebok or a blesbok. lol

seems to be very nice \O
near Ceres... so near Witzenberg too \O
nice bungalow... a little bit lost
love the Rock Martins O/\ and the little ones ^Q^
and the hight flat mountain, must be interesting fauna there \O
here they are melanistic... elsewhere leucistic :-?
love too the Lark, and Zebra... and... and...

Aaahhh leachy \O The Tanqua is one of my favourite places where I can just sit and listen , listen to silence , and watch timelessness go by :-)

Black springbok are actively bred by game farmers, Mello! Not that uncommon, and hunters pay extra...don't know if they think it's a new species?

You get black impala too!

Dunno about black steenbok! :shock:


(Looks like the antelope get burnt by the heat there!)

i popped into the tankwa again during my vacation

to hook up with my friends from riebeek kasteel

and to contemplate my navel...

quite a bit of activity at the waterhole
