No Lis, it was not zoomed in at all. That was taken with my cellphone. After these three moved on, there were more coming so I decided to go to my bakkie. The one from the next lot walked straight to me, I could only get a small part of his face in the video, if I reached out I would have touched him. I was on an adrenaline high until midnight...
Seeing as Hagibis has put an end to rugby today, I went on a short drive and now have time to post a few pics.
First ones are from yesterday at the river. On my way I got this unusual angle of a Warthog boar...
This Waterbuck was probably thinking "Not you and your camera again"...
After being at the river for almost two hours, this Hippo stirred and yawned, I had not seen him in the reeds...
While photographing the Hippo, suddenly I heard branches snapping. I looked in that direction and there Elephant approaching. I took this shot and then started filming with my phone. An absolutely awesome few minutes spent with them...
