Scorpions of Southern Africa - Leeming

Post by Dzombo »

Scorpions of Southern Africa by Jonathan Leeming

An interesting book on the Scorpions of Southern Africa
The first few chapters is general info on Scorpions - habitat, biology, venom etc
And then there is a species by species description with distribution maps

One can learn a lot from a person's photos...for example that you prefer working on the floor, and using pen and paper...old-school! \O ;-)

Scorpions are very interesting and there are so many species that it must be quite a job to read about them all \O I like the pic on the front page

The carpet...............I tried taking the photo on a table, but there was a glare from the lights.

Notepad....my Mrs was doing some work and had some of her notes on the table, so I used a blank page as a background

I take a uv torch with me whenever I go to Kruger.
Every night search for Scorpions.
So far (of the regular camps that I visit), Lower Sabie is the best place to see them
