These beach fronts are ugly all over the world from Durban to Föhr lol
True about the beach fronts...

I reckon, the second stork photo, the one with the ring about the right knee is Romeo. :-)

nan, a few of the storks on the island don't migrate anymore. Not sure how many in total, but so far I have seen 5 together at the max.
But I suspect there are a couple or so more that stayed behind. And they always do. \O

It's usually not too cold here in the winter. At least not like double digit minus degrees. That might help a bit and the fact that they get
additional food if the ground gets to hard for them to take care of themselves.

To which country does this island belong, Mello? 0()
It's the second northernmost German island in the North Sea before Denmark. \O

Although I always do prefer to stay in summer at our beaches as it is than normally much warmer - Winter when the sun is shining is also stunning but when the wind is blowing the it can get extreme cold.

Lovely that you spotted so many birdies, Mel, love the storks and the oystercatcher \O

A chilly but beautiful morning here.
All taken with my mobile phone. Camera had to stay behind on the main land this time.

By now it's all grey again. So happy that I went out first thing in the morning to enjoy the sun. O\/
