This is just my personal opinion and hence only on the aesthetics and something I would put on my walls, looking like a drawing; nothing to do with the technique.

1. Image

2. Image

3. Image With some more white spots in the outlining of the animal, it would be much more elegant, almost fleeting \O

Thx for the feedback Lisbeth...and it is indeed a personal style of photography. I tried it as I have so many beautiful bird/animal photographs yet none are what I want to put up on my wall. I suppose there are right and wrongs but as long as one likes their own photo that is all that counts. I have recently joined a camera club and submit photos every month for crit. I soon learnt that you are at the mercy of the judges..for example a lion portrait that I submitted got 30/30 from one judge and 17/30 from another. lol
We have cameras and the more we use them and try out different things the better.... :)

@Michele - It is also a question of taste and you cannot discuss that ;-) Photography is not an exact art lol

I agree totally with this \O I take photos basically for my own pleasure , and generally , each one has its own little story that goes with it , so that afterwards I am also able to identify with it in all aspects -- where and when it was taken , and the circumstances surrounding it , etc
I also have a good memory ;-)
