Re: Addo - Main Rest Camp (Rondavel HL2)

Thanks - I got an answer : The area is clean, there is a communal kitchen with kettles, fridges, stoves and boiling water for coffer on tap. Each camp site has a table and chair, so no need to shlep that along too. PRWIN - I book in on the 22nd - I think I noticed we will be there together for a day ...

Re: Addo - Main Rest Camp (Rondavel HL2)

Hi Mel - it's time for me to explore Addo.

I will be camping in Main Camp and using the communial kitchen.

Do they have hot water boilers like Kruger?
Do they have picnic sites where they hire out gas braais?

Thanks for all the info you have posted here. O0

Re: Where Am I Sitting...in words! (Winner Continues)

The loop roads turn off the H7 Rob T - and if I remember correctly, it was on your way to Timbavati that you saw the leopard. That was the Picnic Spot and the importance of the letter T. The 100s of lions - is the S100 leading to Gudzani - and then you would be going in the wrong direction. Well ...

It has two short roads leading to the waterhole (5km give or take) and it has a longer 3rd road to a Picnic site - the T is somewhere here 2 Two years ago it was bone dry - now it has water 3 100s lions gives ...

Re: Where Am I Sitting...in words! (Winner Continues)

=O: =O: Forget about Tshokwane, but don't forget the 'T' .... get back to the two short roads leading to this waterhole.... and the last picture I took of this waterhole....... All dried up and cracked - but it does have water now. O** There is, of course, another waterhole, that sounds similar, but ...
