Re: Flavour of the Month - March 2015 - Shabeni Hill

RP - doggies were certainly there. Probabaly my most captivating, frightening and disturbing sighting ever was along S7. The yelp of a wild dog brings it all back... the unexpected sadness and survival instinct of nature. I left the sighting too soon but I couldn't bear to stay. :-( I'll post the ...

Flavour of the Month - March 2015 - Shabeni Hill

Flavour of the Month – March 2015 – Shabeni Hill Shabeni Hill and the loop around it from S7 onto S10 and then back to S7 is one of my favourite little drives in Kruger. http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/s564/adrian_williams2/Shabeni%20Hill_zpsbuws78rj.jpg What’s not to like about it? It has great ...

Ndume

Ndume - he may not be one of Africa's Giant Tuskers but he has a story that can make you smile, laugh and cry all at the same time. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust do an amazing job. Ndume is one special elephant. https://markdeeble.wordpress.com/2015/02/22/ndume-the-story-of-an-elephant/ https ...

Re: Backyard wildlife

Amazing what you see in your backyard. I've never seen a snake but here in Stockport, 53 degrees North, there are signs spring is round the corner...... http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/s564/adrian_williams2/RingneckParrakeet_zps580a4720.jpg There has been a small population of Ring necked ...

0/* I'm back. Thanks for thoughts and ideas. What a week, been all over the place with this new job and then headed off to Liverpool today for the Global March for Elephants and Rhino. I haven't been to the far North in summer and it is something I really want to do but honestly I'm torn. Work is ...

Re: 10 day Solo Kruger adventure – what would you do?

0/* Thanks for suggestions. It is great to hear others thoughts and ideas. I tend to be cautious and stick to what I know so maybe venturing north is the best option. Lis I do like to share new experiences with my lovely and was planning my first trip north with her but maybe I should check it out ...

10 day Solo Kruger adventure – what would you do?

0/* Seeking suggestions of what you would do for a solo 10 day adventure in Kruger. After a 10 month career break I am back into work big time. (A TT of my travels in Australia is being updated less frequently than I’d hoped but we will get to the end sometime I promise). I will accrue some day’s hol ...
