Looks like all the antelope are shaggier there in the Colony, Peej?
Nice pics, look just the same when they are attachments!

Thanks everyone.... there is more to that episode but somehow attaching pics broke my connection to the site and then eskom kicked our power out to bring a total halt to posting
There's a specific corner on Ubejane Loop where we always seem to find gemsbok resting
This time around we were lucky to see quite a few youngsters as well

Lucky shot of the three wildebeest I only know them to mess about and to form a messy heap than a symmetric line

Re: Winter Migration To MZNP
Thanks everyone for the comments... for some reason every time I post a set of pics I get blocked from the site for a day
So still on the same topic of regulars... springbok and red hartebeest are quite literally found all over the place in the park. Up on the higher sections as well as in the valleys
My last two entries here are perhaps not always quite so regular. Eland are generally seen in the quieter areas and they don't stick around much for pics!
And lastly the buffalo seem to stick in a single herd, so it's just your luck as to whether you find them or not. They were hanging out near Doornhoek dam for a couple of days but deep in the bush. We got lucky with a bull who was bringing up the rear of the herd who popped out into the open
