Very nice again, AN!

Ja, dunno if those are endemic to the area?

Amazing the grassy plains there now! lol

But unfortunately, the cheetah take it all away. Love them generally and those Addo ones were something totally special.
Normally you'd hear of cats who break OUT of a park / reserve, but certainly not INTO it lol

How lucky you were that you got to see them on their last day in Addo! It's kinda like saying goodbye to them.

Ja, wonder how they are doing these days... Do you know to which new home exactly they went, by any chance?
:ty: Mel
Agree will be interesting to hear if they have settled in well. \O
Mel as far as I am aware to the Phinda Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal. O/\

Warthogs can be extremely entertaining
However they did not stand in front of the line when looks were dished out!! lol =O:
Although I still find them fascinating and enjoyable to see \O

:-? Well I did not live 300 + years ago, so cannot say for certain that they were not endemic then -O-

With that we set off for our last drive through the park and saying goodbye to some friends ;-)

Waterhole did not disappoint either O/\

This one was extra tiny

There were just so many babies around 0*\
I was not complaining as they are super cute

Lots and lots of Kudu ;-)

Then we had a surprise which made our exit all the more special
Not very good photos as they were mostly taken through the windscreen and I was shaking from all the excitement. lol
Unfortunately we missed Jose and the cubs as they had also been there, but had moved off by the time we arrived - Must say that would have been the cherry on the top if they were still there! O/\

Then they moved onto the road and we followed until they also moved into the bush.

The Ellies rushing to the waterhole for a drink, only to find it bone dry. :-( was totally heart breaking :-( to see them slowly walk away from the waterhole, one could actually see the disappointment in their behavior.

They slowed down as they reached the road and the Matriarch seemed to call them all together by trumpeting, with rumbles they all congregated.
It seemed as if they were discussing the next best move, or what planb is to find water! -O-
Felt sooooo sorry for them! 0/0
