Lost Password /Login issues .

Post by RogerFraser »

I’ve lost my password!
Don’t panic! While your password cannot be retrieved, it can easily be reset. Visit the login page and click I’ve forgotten my password. Follow the instructions and you should be able to log in again shortly.

I registered but cannot login!
First, check your username and password. If they are correct, then one of two things may have happened. If COPPA support is enabled and you specified being under 13 years old during registration, you will have to follow the instructions you received. Some boards will also require new registrations to be activated, either by yourself or by an administrator before you can logon; this information was present during registration. If you were sent an e-mail, follow the instructions. If you did not receive an e-mail, you may have provided an incorrect e-mail address or the e-mail may have been picked up by a spam filer. If you are sure the e-mail address you provided is correct, try contacting an administrator.

I registered in the past but cannot login any more?!
It is possible an administrator has deactivated or deleted your account for some reason. Also, many boards periodically remove users who have not posted for a long time to reduce the size of the database. If this has happened, try registering again and being more involved in discussions.

My log in problems are continuing.

At first I thought the problem was caused when SO was using the wifi at the same time.

But he's not here now and I keep losing my connection and I have to reset the wifi.

I've now worked out that these problems have always occurred on a public holiday!! -O- :-?

I am losing the will to log in here when I have to do it 10 times in an hour!! O/ O/ And it only happens with the forum so I presume it's not a problem on my side!!

I am losing my connection continuously and get this message:

This site can’t be reached
africawild-forum.com took too long to respond.
Try:
• Checking the connection
• Checking the proxy and the firewall
• Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Then, when I reset the router I get this message:

Nothing I can do to help you other than offering you some mental support, Flutts 0/0

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Yesterday was much better. It seems that it happened more when I was working on the mammal challenge, when I was downloading and attaching pics all day. Wonder if that has something to do with it. -O-

Ok not sure why it would happen there.Ir might be that some of those links are to http images etc.Sometimes pages that are secure ie https but have insecure content may cause a security warning. If the warning pops up again try click advanced to see if it gives any more details.
