This is great news, well done SanParks and Mjejane. Welcome to our park.
Now why can't SP build their hotel there which site has already been approved. If you realy want to help and support local communities like you say you do Dr Mabunda, here's your chance. Show us you mean what you say.

Who are those business developers and what are they developing??

Is there a camp in the Mjejane Game Reserve or other kind of accomodations?

As I have it, there is a lodge on the "reserve" outside Kruger, and tourists will now have access to the Kruger road network. This is an old and successful project, and an orderly way to go about a land claim!

This gate is now closed, it seems, with quotas going to other gates!

Prerequisites were not followed regarding development of communities, and investors suing!

What happened?

It is a mess...people bought/built timeshares/homes etc with the proviso that access was to Kruger. Then things went sour as certain commitments regarding ranger and antipoaching and staff training for "greater Kruger" weren't met.

In the bigger picture, one would assume, or the dread word SPECULATE, not enough money for Kruger!

Extremely complicated this one...one wonders where the tribal allocations and sustainable stuff has gone?
