Great example on biodiversity and food chain. This was a positive example, but explains also what happens, when/if one part of the chain disappears

When are we going then Nan.
Friends of mine are leading a tour to Spain this Summer to look for Iberian Wolves if you want somewhere closer to home Nan.

This shows how herbivores (browsers in this case) can have a major impact over time?
Not sure about grazers, like most rhino here...

Hmmmm....... very interesting
We visited Yellowstone in 1996 and was very fortunate to have a brief sighting of the one of newly introduced wolves
Seems like we will have to go back again to see how the park has changed
