Re: Water Provision Policy in Kruger National Park
This situation was unnatural and led to various unintended ecological effects.
The whole system of fencing off a natural area and blocking seasonal migrations is unnatural. Global warming is also unnatural. Firebombing certain parts of the Park is also unnatural.

Re: Water Provision Policy in Kruger National Park
This is actually a very good and cautious summary of the situation I think, although almost entirely elephant-oriented, rather understandably!
Little mention is made of the decade-long wet cycle in Kruger, which rather nullifies the original premise of the borehole program to a certain extent, pre-global warming?
