Half a carcass is a big meal for the eagle :-)

And luckily no other scavengers around.

It is very rare for steenbok to be roadkill, leachy?

If not then that is a very big kill for a tawny! :shock: :shock: :shock:

i do believe that it is an impala lamb, however,
i do have my own way of seeing wildlife...

the carcass was quite a distance from the road
but that means nothing....

and it was on the orpen road

so sanparks might have stopped to remove it
but figured that it was too small a meal...
