Unless I read it all wrong, I don't see any changes to the restaurants in places like Skuks and others that have been terrible for a long time. -O-

I think, the PPP agreements for the other restaurant operators are not expired, so no tender process :-?

The Compass Group is the operator running most of the restaurants in Kruger and this agreement expires 31 March 2022.

Ja, the interesting is now SP are making every tender public! \O

Somebody's watching...

But I suspect other stuff may come to light, hence the good behaviour! O:V

Sanparks has announced that Tourvest have been awarded the tender for shops and I think, restaurants in Kruger. 51.3% Shareholder is Robert Gumede who is a major financial backer of ANC. Helps to have friends in high places ?

-O- But Tourvest is not a new operator, running restaurants in Mountain Zebra, Addo and Tsitsikamma and the The Tigers Eye shops.

And I think, Tourvest is South Africa’s largest black-owned tourism group. :-)

The question is, do they know how to run good restaurants or do we accept second rate because of the political connections.

I would say, avoid any Compass Group restaurant in SANParks, but nothing wrong with the Tourvest ones from my experience :-)

Have they changed at Tsitsikamma since 2011 (January)? When we were at Storms River Mouth it was terrible  At Addo they had just changed the manager and it was excellent.... :-?
