Not sure if this is allowed - but please destroy or merge or do what needs to be done. Creatures of our world have so many ways of dispearing in full view - I thought we could share hidden animals. :-)

Flutterby - took me a little bit but yep 'saw' the animal...won't say where or what, let others try to pick out. As for your big ol' snake - YIKES. I really hope my luck continues and I do NOT see any snakes on my next visit! MD - that is an amazing photo...I certainly wouldn't have picked it out - in fact I would have run in the other direction if I HAD seen it.

Jill, I'm not mad about snakes either, but when I can watch them from the safety of my car I'm happy to see them! \O

I'm posting these two barking geckos to show the contrasting camouflage coloration, based on the sand in their particular environment. The light one was taken at Nossob, and the dark one at KTC where the sand is very orange-red.

As I said before on another thread - your barking geckos really make me green all over. ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^
Can't add an adequate smiley, they're all green. 0*\
