The Dukes loop was quiet today, and we made our way to Lower Sabie for breakfast, which was the Chicken Por Pie again… \O

We continued north along the H4-1 to the S70 causeway, as lions had been seen there a few days before but we had no luck.

Here is were we deviated from our usual roads and took the S21 across to Afsaal, it was a great drive, the road conditions were good and there was lots of general game to be spotted.

Some buffalo swimming at the first waterhole, we assumed it was Mhlupheka water hole. :-?

I wonder why the animals continue to run straight forward instead of heading for the bush, when they want to get away from a car. I have seen it happen often :-?

Hey Alf, me too its a long dry drive in winter, but was very different this Feb :-?

RP: there were a few swimmalo's =O:

and yeah some of the dirt roads were great and with the drizzling rain there was no dust \O
