Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification
But I do not think it is the same one

Aat you Identified this one as Nhlowa, No notch and tusks much shorter
I n my opinion, your pics and mine are of the same elephant, but the one from Helen Wood is a different one

Lisbeth,
It's the same tusker on mine and Helene Wood's pictures. All based on very detailed ID marks like ears and trunk and tusks, no doubt about that. As said he developed this tear in his left ear somewhere in 2012.
Your picture is not at his page so don't know what happened, may be it was not a 100% ID or corrected afterwards.

Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification
The one that RogerFraser has posted, is definitely the same as mine, but I think that you are a better judge

@ ALL
Hi tuskermites. I am trying to improve the tusker site by adding a seperate ID page to the individual tuskers. Giving a description is not always enough.
To make it user friendly you just have to press the "button" to go to the ID page and pressing Back on that page you can go back to the main page of the tusker.
I am working on it so it's just done for a few per today. Before I go on with it I like to hear your opinion
This is the example (Hlahleni) , have a look and give your feedback
