Good Gravy, Roger!
When was this?
Looks like the first ones are big bulls in stature too?

Hi
Was the 8th of January this year .
They were very big .It was quite something to be in the picnic area with them wondering on the outside .
A pic off my phone of them testing their strength .I have a short video too I will try upload and link to it.

Roger, no doubt about this one ... one of "my boys" , it's NHLOWA
ID by tusks and as you can see the big notch in the left ear.... rain or sunshine ...I always recognize this guy... met him several times and yes he is really a nice tusker.
If it's no problem for you , please send some of the pics to me , so I can keep my database / site up-to-date

Hi

all had quite an Ellie holiday .Was mock charged quite often too , not sure if it was due to there being so many breeding herds or my old Landy being so noisy lately .Scariest moment was towing the caravan from Maroela to Lower Sabie and a big bull decided to take an interest just as I had decided it was safe to pass by as he was a good 10 meters from the road and moving away.He swung around and gave us a good head shake and moved a few paces towards us amazing how quickly something that big can move and how slowly and old landy accelerates

.Few days later we were following some doggies down South near the H4 -S130 intersection when a very large bull came thundering up the road followed by the section ranger who somehow managed to get infront of him . He then calmly drove over and told us he was just pushing the bull in Must off the public roads and probably best we leave as quick as possible once he pushes him further back down the main road .Have some new respect for the ranger after watching him calmly push and shove the bull back off the main roads ,needles to say as soon as he was clear of the main road intersection we decided to leave the area . My daughter did not enjoy the trip much and developed and ellie phobia ,there was much teasing about her ellie radar by the end of the trip

.
