I second both!
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

The important thing to stress is that SP have not denied that Skuks hotel may be privatised (sold) after completion...that is very worrisome, and is almost the only way one can make sense of this extended attempt.
Besides a party place for .gov, as mentioned earlier. Either way, public money horribly wasted.

The lodges/hotels are not a good idea... does this mean noise/building inconvenience during our stay at Skuks in April?

I still remain very concerned at the presence of
a member representing Premier hotels, in
Groenkloof!!!! This at a stage long before any
decisions and contracts could be awarded!!!
I may go down as harping again yet I don't care.
How can any would be contractor be sitting in
without knowing the pre meditated outcome.
It stinks,..

Yes indeed, Peej...they will have to tear down three or four existing huts, before foundations and border fence for construction, and later for larneys not to look onto camp...
The public will suddenly be outraged then, and ask why nobody has revealed this chaos...meanwhile we and a handful of others have been trying to fight it for years!

Re: What is the situation/progress with the proposed hotels?
With regard too this development, Skuks, I am
rather disgusted at the "modus operandi" applied
by Sanparks!!!! I have and other, yet to receive
clarity and documentation from Sanparks as
suggested by the facilitator then, Mr W. de Waal.
Traffic impacts studies were not clearly defined
and it was suggested further study be done, also
to satisfy the IAP's concerns prior to any decision
or mitigation!!! It remains on record!!
A basic assessment was compiled, submitted and
appreciated. Little regard, to what was suggested,
taken into account!!! The minutes will speak for self
even though construed at times!
