Two Big Tuskers of Tembe EP (both died over the last few years)

A big Big Tusker fan made several trips to Tembe EP, his name is Hans Juergen Buchholz
He made this special picture a few years ago with two of the biggest tuskers of south africa ISILO (background) together with MKDEBONA

Mkadebona was killed by another bull in Jan 2013.

Mabhudu and Phukile are also dead.

Siqualo and Rudi are still around and there is another one who is found only in the North where visitors don't have access.

Tembe has lost the biggest bulls in the last two years :-( .

Isilo's best friend Kwazi (not a big tusker) ist still mourning, I think. He is always on his own now and does stay away from the other bulls. Interesting is, that Isilo passed on his knowledge to Kwazi and now Kwazi is the only bull who knows how to break the electric fence and to enter the lodge area.

They are incredible animals!!

I hope that Isilo and Mkadebona have left some descendants with the same genes, who will become big tuskers \O

Great sighting !! It;s MCULU an officially named tusker. ^Q^
This is an easy to ID tusker if you can see the left ear on a photo , with the large W shaped notches and his tusks.

Love to receive these pictures Sprocky X#X
