Never knew how cork was harvested

PALACE and GALLERY OF CADAVAL
The Palace of the Dukes of Cadaval is located in the noble part of Évora, next to the Roman Temple and belongs, since its foundation, to the Dukes of Cadaval family, even today. The palace was built in the 14th century and lies on the wall of the former castle of Evora, combining Gothic, Moorish and Manuelin styles. One of the curiosities, that can be seen from outside of the palace, is the pentagonal tower, popularly known as the "Torre das Cinco Quinas" (tower of five corners).
You can only see the fifth side from the other side 
The inside with furniture etc.
A painting that I have called "Revenge!"
Hand embroidered - most likely a mantle of a religious of high rank
Beautiful Chinese porcelain

UNIVERSITY OF ÉVORA (Colégio do Espírito Santo)
The University of Évora was created in 1551, by the initiative of Cardinal-King Henry, being a Jesuit College where they were teaching Philosophy, Ethics, Scripture, Speculative Theology , Rhetoric, Grammar and Humanities, to the missionaries who traveled around the world. It was the second university to be established in Portugal, after Coimbra.
In the building of the Holy Spirit's College, it is possible to visit the cloister, with two superimposed galleries of Tuscan order, the Hall of Acts, on baroque style, the tiles (azulejos) present in the original classrooms around the Cloisters, with references to classical authors such as Plato, Virgil, Aristotle or Archimedes; The Mannerist Church of the Holy Spirit (16th century), the Chapel of Our Lady of Conception, and the old library. The University was abolished in 1759 and reinstated in 1979.
