For all the huggers out there, have you never startled any animals in the park with your vehicle? Well it works the same, once they get used to it they relax, only takes a minute or two. Think about it next time you see Impala or Zebra running away once you drive close to them...maybe you shouldn't be driving there.

That's an interesting question, Sprocks. Kruger animals slowly got used to vehicles, those that were regularly exposed, but if you go into the more remote bush there they run away at a much larger flight distance, as in the horison sometimes.

I don't think they have a heart attack, just prudent.

So presumably they will get used to drones, but not 10 at a time, and as Peter says, the birds probably won't?

Hi Sprockitt, I have great admiration for entrepreneurship, this being
one!!! Those waters rather muddy, still I believe a good idea!!

Please keep it outside the park(Kruger)!!! Kruger cannot be seen as a
place for exploit, rather more can be seen as a place that needs to be
safeguarded from any exploitation, in whatever ideology.

H.e, to set things straight, there are rules set out by the SACAA for all forms of aviation. I have been involved in aviation since 1983, including having a PPL, flying gliders, skydiving, aerial photography in the SAAF for a decade and now following my passion of flying, albeit with a drone. I know the laws and respect them. Now please, almost the entire KNP is a no-fly zone. I know where and how high or low I am allowed to fly. If you or anyone else catches me breaking the rules...I'll buy you a or six!
