Alf was it noisy with the generator on the side of No 1 ...I book No 7 if its a 6 bed as it is close to the fence and 15 if its a 4 bed with its view over the 'OLD' dam ..I just heard from others that 1 and 2 get all the Generator noise hence my choices on the other end????

We stayed there in cottage no 1 during january 2011 and i can't remember if there was any noise from the generator. One very good improvement they made now is to put a normal plug behind the fridge so now you can charge anything inside your cottage and don't have to go to reception to charge camera batteries.

Some nights are very quiet at Sirheni ..just the bats calls resonating through the trees , but sometimes the local Hyena clan is working the area at night and they are very vocal..Got this male 1 km from the gate after my early drive coming back to fetch Jane...before going out again to Babalala ...They were noisy throughout the previous night

An afternoon drive along the Middle loop of the S56 and just parking off under a big Nyala Boom and waiting listening to the Brown headed parrots eating above and dropping the remains of the fruit they are eating all around the car from above (It gets quite dirty!! =O: ) but then you are often rewarded with these shy Nyala Bulls feeding on the fallen fruit ..Just love that road ...Sirheni's big attraction

I see they will distroy the concrete dam wall next week. 0*\ What a shame.

It was badly damaged during the floods of 2013.

Why spend money to repair a dam wall if we can build HOTELS :-?
