Pink & Lime-Green Elephants

It is a rainforest, although a temperate one rather than a tropical one.

The first photo of the Elephant Hawk-moth came out quite vivid due to the mik en druk and that everyone else was taking with flash at the time, so this pic below is more accurate to the correct colours of this moth.


The venue for the day was Plas Tan-Y-Bwlch, an old hall built in the 1800's.

And the old stables, which have been converted into a function area with lecture theatre, educational centre etc.

Just watched a docu about the Scillys and they also had foxgloves in wet conditions.
Wonder if they could cope with sun. Nah, just kidding.
