It is a rainforest, although a temperate one rather than a tropical one. =O:

The first photo of the Elephant Hawk-moth came out quite vivid due to the mik en druk and that everyone else was taking with flash at the time, so this pic below is more accurate to the correct colours of this moth.

The venue for the day was Plas Tan-Y-Bwlch, an old hall built in the 1800's.

And the old stables, which have been converted into a function area with lecture theatre, educational centre etc.

I love those old buildings all in stone and the old leaded windows, not to talk about the view O\/ O\/

what a beautiful place, I love the stable, old stable but magnificent building \O yes, yes the castle too ;-)
If no sunshine... very long days and that for me will be delightfull, except in winter... Europe central's winters -O

Just watched a docu about the Scillys and they also had foxgloves in wet conditions.
Wonder if they could cope with sun. O** Nah, just kidding.
