A visit to planet Mopani

We arranged to meet RobertT just outside Pretoria at 3am on Friday 30 September

Found some road works at Polokwane which made us take a detour through town..... Don't think RobertT saw the right turn off for the detour as his navigation didn't expected any road works and was obviously confused too

It was misty coming through Polokwane and I didn't see the detour sign. Saw my error on way back and will know it for 23 days time when I go past there again.

Now you blame the mist

again cooler box with problems... not funny I know, I had so many time this problem
first animal = road kill... what a shame

better hot tea than nothing

Mrs Alf were busy in the boot at the gate and somehow the plug got disconnected without her noticing it

Or it was the little aliens that pulled the cable running through to the back of the boot

I tried to drive even slower on the way back but still it didn't work It never happened before

We was driving on the tar roads...... saw lots of animal....

On our way to Letaba we stopped at Nhlanganini water hole. This fish eagle took a bath









Maybe he was trying to catch some breakfast himself

Mr Hippo checked how big he could open his mouth and if the fish eagle could fit if he decided to eat it





Nope not big enough...

We arrived at Letaba just after 11am.

After having a smoke, one must drop your cigarette into the hole......Where can I find this hole I'm sure it must be here somewhere did they see me smoking



My daughter ordered a bubblegum milkshake....... the waiter came back with a cream soda cool drink

Not very clever.

At least he got my order right for the tea

After our late breakfast we got back onto the road and decided on a few detours on our way to planet Mopani

I wonder what a "bubblegum milkshake" is, maybe the waiter did too

Stop smoking and you will not have the "dropping" problem any more
