Nice anniversary present.
We saw the mamba at Mankwe in December last year so he's obviously very happy there.

We are very careful from now on when walk to the hide.

6 April continued.
We sat and watched these lion feasting for an hour.
Than a B.B.J. came along and tried to steal a leg.
But the one female was not going to share her breakfast and tried to stalk up on the jackal...................
.................while the others were just too lazy to do anything about it....................
...........or chose to look the other way.
The rest of the pride only took a passing interest.
We left the lion in peace and drove off.
I will not comment on this photo.
We returned to the kill scene about two hours later to find the jackal enjoying himself.
06 April to be continued.
