I saw a lot of roadkill one morning..... 5 Squirrels... for about 5 km

and a bird... on the gravel road near Kij Kij

Maybe not that much speeding seen...rather too many vehicles!
You could not stop suddenly for fear of someone hitting you from behind. Swerving also tricky if another car was coming from the front!

The same here. We have seen plenty road kill in kruger. Sometimes when i had to brake for a sighting i tried to go left and half off the road so that the guy behind me will hopefully miss me
I named them "ass flies" sorry for the word but they will sit behind you as if they are trying to save fuel and sit in your slip stream

Today near lower sabie we saw a dove killed in the road. So sad. I mean how can you kill that??? Its not as it tries to cross the road very slowly like a tortoise!!

We saw a dead impala close to punda maria gate this morning. Something had a few bites from it but it was laying in the tar road, not sure if it was road kill

Normally there is liquid coming from the mouth/nose and anus, sometimes, if it's roadkill?
No wounds or blood, as one would see from a kill kill....but sounds like roadkill!
