for compliments and info!
A bit further on, just as we came back from the Napi loop, there was another elephant, but tusks not so big...
Meanwhile in the back I was so used to trying to photograph insects for ID purposes!
On the little road to Transport Dam there were two unusual companions!
A vulture and a yellow-billed stork youngster!

At the dam Borderline got creative after having had some tea!
All was in order, the dam very full for the end of winter, compared to Shitlhave!

A very restful spot!
Strange birds in the tree again!
We went to the windmill loop behind the dam to attend to some business, and sat for quite a while, also very restful!

The yellow-billed hornbill is always an excellent subject for photos

Tokos always look grumpy when being photographed up front.

But still - I like them. Cute behaviour too sometimes.

It is amazing how things come and go, even in the middle of nowhere!
Some impala also walked past.
My favourite was a tree next to us that was heavily colonised by some very busy birds that went nowhere else and were constantly scurrying all over it!
I think they were wattled starlings!
Some zebra also joined!
