RP, these illegal trawlers are really a huge concern to all of the residents here. They often drag their nets very close to shore at night and can be identified by the very bright lights on their sterns lighting up the area where the nets are. Their nets must be destroying what coral there is in this area as well as the fish stocks. I have often discussed this with senior members in a few departments who are responsible for investigating such issues but hardly ever get feedback regarding any action taken against the trawlers -O- 0= .
