Or maybe nobody looked

Sometimes at the gate, the staff are so busy chatting that it is difficult also to watch what is going on

Only twice did someone open the boot and it was the same guy both times

I must have gone through that gate around 20 times.

The next day we decided to drive down to Letaba for lunch. We only left camp after 9am
We have just turned right at the t-junction and noticed a traffic jam......
What could it be
Knowing this area it's normally either elephant or buffalo....
I stopped next to a guy and asked him what they are seeing. He pointed to my side of the road and not far in a beautiful cheetah
Wow how lucky. Our first cheetah in this thick mopani area.
A few minutes later he turned around in walked into the thick bush.
We carried on driving and not too far down the road we saw this guy
This bird needs an ID please
And also this bird please
I'm not very good with birds
We arrived at Letaba. Had some nice lunch. Went shopping.
Then it was time to return to Mopani..........
Next episode an amazing sighting for us

Already amazing sightings, Alpheus!
Nice to see the stuff surrounded by green!
The second bird is a yellow-billed kite - the first probably wahlberg's, but better put it on the ID thread?
