the first night braai was quite a challenge in the extremely windy conditions

but thanks to roberto's wind screen (not the one from his car, the one he has made for his gas braai)

we seemed to manage...

roberto and his offspring did not stay too long as the wind was very cold and the youngster was freezing cold

i did not stay too long afterwards either because i had left my "zzshwa-zzshwa" dictionary at home so

understanding what richwit was saying became a bit of a challenge

nevertheless it was a pleasant evening of yenkukhu tasty braai buns......

the next day we were heading up to TEBA but richie and the lads had to go to punda to check in

so i went my own way and spent ages en route marvelling at how deft the ground hornbill is at getting minute bugs out of the ellie dung

and into his bill..

i then stopped off at kloppies were the richie and the lads later caught up with me just after i had the pleasure of

sitting with these beautiful antelope..
