Hi Mel,

Lots of new bird species from kingfishers to jacanas. ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ Love the landscape shot of the huge rock and moon. \O Where is the night photography shots. The stars must have been amazing.

You visited some amazing rock art that is much different from Twyfelfontein or Tsodilo hills. The rock reminds me of the rocky outcrops at Tsodilo hills. O/\ O/\ O/\

G'day Mel! 0/*

I was so happy to see another set of installments from you \O
Kakadu looks so lovely all lush and green :-0 :-0 :-0

In Sydney we call masked lapwings "melted cheese face birds" ;-)
I think it is quite an apt name for them and when I see one I always think of melted cheese! lol

And may I just make a small correction to one of your photo captions O**
Your saltwater alligator is actually a saltwater crocodile - we don't have any alligators in Oz \O

Also, I asked my work colleague about your fishies.

Fish #2 is a saratoga and fish #3 is an archer fish \O

Til next time, melou 0/0

Eish! At this rate I'm never going to finish this one before going to the Kgalagadi in less than 3 weeks time. 0*\
Let's go on then. Thank you all for your participation here and thanks for the correction on the crogator lol melou. \O
And of course the IDs on the fishies. Will insert them after the next instalment and change the alligator to the croc.

BJ, not night photography shots, sorry. I didn't bring the tripod :o0ps: Heck, I even left the 500mm lens at home due to luggage restrictions... 0:
